The Mower Battle #2

O and for an update to the mower story...I finished the lawn tonight. Apparently the mower does not have an endless supply of gas or refill itself. #cool. However at the very end of my mowing it ended up quitting again due to the fact that the curb jumped up and hit the blade and it quit. On the bright side I was done and don't think it's broken just died for a second and I pulled a bunch of weeds by hand.

Hot as Balls

It is hot as balls in our house!!! It feels better outside than it does inside. I don't feel like showering cuz the minute I get out I will be drenched in sweat again anyway. I may have to go use up somebody else's air at their house because I am sooo hot! Alyssa woke up this morning and realized our a/c was not working. No wonder I was so hot last night. Our landlord had to come over and check it out and it will not be fixed til tomorrow. You lucky roommates who are not staying here for the night (everybody but Heather) cool guys don't worry I'll get it fixed while you're gone :) What else could break this week there is still tomorrow and saturday so we shall see :/ (knock on wood).

Pesky Neighbors

Does anyone in Wayne, America realize that its June 26th and not the 4th of the July? Apparently our neighbor kid has his days mixed up because we were woken up at an ungodly time of 11:30 am to our neighbor kid setting off fireworks(this is the same evil child who decided to take the basketball from Heather when we were at the pool the other day she was thoroughly upset). This has been going on all day and Heather and I will seek revenge against the kid. Travis has kindly suggested to us that we jump him but Heather and I have other plans. We either want to spray him with water guns or pelt water balloons at him so maybe he'll stop. We will keep you posted on our battle with the neighbor kid.

Date Night Double Take

Since our first date night didn't go too well tonight Ryan and I decided to go to Taco Tuesday in Wakefield. We went up there and smashed some tacos and chips and salsa.

While we were eating Ryan was putting hot sauce on her food. All of a sudden her nose was running eyes watering and she was sweating. Her lip was even going numb. Clearly we had to do something about this so we drove back to Wayne and went to Udders for ice cream. We were forced into buying ice cream to cool off Ryan's mouth.

Mowing Day!

So today I decided to mow. We have ridiculous over-grown weeds.

The lawn mower was doing fine for a while even though I accidentally ran over a McDonalds bag. It was kind of an accident because I saw it and thought in my brain I should not run over this and then the mower just went over it and there was nothing I can do. That stuff was all over the yard.

Then all of a sudden after I ran over a buttload of weeds it died on me. Ryan and I definitely kicked the mower a few times and tried to start it and it didn't work. Ryan tried to use a hoe thingy weed puller to pull weeds but she didn't get very far. Needless to say our yard is still ugly.

Dinner with the roomie

Heather and I decided to have a little date night so we decided to make some chicken alfredo dinner. We cooked the chicken and pasta on the stove and we were so hungry that we decided to just heat up the alfredo in the microwave. We put it in for a minute and it wasn't warm enough so we put it in a little longer and the alfredo blew up in the microwave. A fourth of the can of alfredo was in the microwave now and it was dripping from the top. Love our dinners :]

Sludge Lagoon

So now begins Heather and I's trials and tribulations of our junior year. We plan on having many adventures and they've already began. Heather and I went to watch some softball games and since they became long and boring (and our attention span is maybe 8 seconds long) we decided to go on a walk. We found the only waterfall in Wayne and hope to come back and explore that later this summer. On the way back to the softball games we found a sludge lagoon. And us being the curious kittens we are we decided to hop a fence and climb a hill to find the sludge lagoon. Once we found it Heather wanted to put her feet in the water and I wanted to put a boat in there and ride around the lagoon.

 When we got back to the games we bragged about finding the sludge lagoon and our friend Dusty informed us that a sludge lagoon was where all the waste from the toilets in Wayne, America went to. Guess we wont be boating in the sludge lagoon anytime soon...
